Founding Principal Nolan Smith has never been one to accept the status quo. Dissatisfied with the state of healthcare Architecture in Australia, Nolan began Thextonsmith to inject life and contemporary design into the sector. With a passion for great architecture, enviable optimism and an unwavering belief in always doing better, Nolan is at the forefront of his field.

Nolan’s architecture career began in New Zealand where he worked on prominent projects, high-end residences and large-scale multi-residential and heritage listed projects. Every project Nolan works on today benefits from his broad knowledge base, creativity, profound understanding of the construction industry and meticulous eye for detail.

Nolan takes a lead role in all projects and focuses on pushing the boundaries of architecture and design, whilst ensuring developments are commercially viable and operationally sound. Nolan offers a personal level of service and communication to satisfy client’s needs, from concept and design development through to delivery. He is passionate about providing industry-leading design, cost-effective construction and operability for his clients as well as comfort and pleasure to the end user.

Amy has been Practice Manager since Thextonsmith’s inception, overseeing the management and administrative side of the practice. Amy’s role at Thextonsmith is critical to enabling Nolan and the leadership team to focus on their passion: architecture and our clients.

With over 10 years spent in the advertising industry, Amy is well accustomed to the fast-paced world of creative environments. By taking control of the day to day challenges of the business, Amy allows the leadership team at Thextonsmith to be hands-on with all clients, enabling them to follow projects from inception to completion and ensuring quality of design and delivery.
