Kalyna Care Aged Care – Delahey

This project by Melbourne Aged Care Architect Thextonsmith, involved two stages of development. Stage 1 comprised a new 40 bed addition to an existing 102 bed aged care facility. Stage 2 consisted of a new 40 bed addition.

The breath-taking two-story built forms are situated to the west and south to take advantage of park vistas to the west and Taylors Road to the south.

Consideration has been given to neighbouring properties by keeping the interface with fine-grain residential lots towards the east at a single level, to minimise impact on local residents and help ease the planning process.
