The compact site resulted in a dynamic design focusing on horizontal planes to minimise the building’s height in relation to neighbouring developments. Horizontal aspects such as balconies are given prominence and continued along the façade. The northern balconies are curved to enhance impact; the curves offset from level to level creating a juxtaposition as the building rises and allowing for great planting opportunities for each balcony. The offset curves continue on the Findon Road frontage, directing views from the sitting rooms and creating a dynamic built form addressing the road.
